Transforming San Jose, One Court at a Time

The Paul Moore Success Story

From Borrowed Courts to a Community Movement

What began as a small group of strangers hitting on borrowed courts has become one of San Jose’s most remarkable community success stories. The San Jose Pickleball Club didn’t just grow—it ignited.

In just a few short years, SJPC has transformed empty parks into thriving public spaces, introduced thousands of residents to the sport, and built a culture where newcomers are welcomed like family.

"We are rediscovering what it feels like to belong in our own city parks."
  • Court Revitalization: Transforming underused spaces into high-energy hubs.
