The Paul Moore Success Story
From Borrowed Courts to a Community Movement
What began as a small group of strangers hitting on borrowed courts has become one of San Jose’s most remarkable community success stories. The San Jose Pickleball Club didn’t just grow—it ignited.
In just a few short years, SJPC has transformed empty parks into thriving public spaces, introduced thousands of residents to the sport, and built a culture where newcomers are welcomed like family.

The Cherry Court
Conversion.
This isn't just a new place to play—it's the result of four years of relentless advocacy and community organizing. By successfully converting the Cherry Park tennis courts into permanent, dedicated pickleball infrastructure, we have secured a lasting legacy for the Willow Glen neighborhood and beyond.
THE
VISION
We cultivate vibrant, inclusive communities where pickleball serves as a bridge for connection, health, and mutual support.
We believe that local courts are the heart of our neighborhoods. Through the work of Community Architects and dedicated volunteers, we revitalize spaces like Paul Moore Park and Edenvale Park to ensure a lasting legacy of community pride.
